The fastest and easiest way to recycle ink cartridges is to send them back after you have used them. Usually, if you purchase them online, you receive a mailer with labels whereby you can send them back to the company you bought them from. By purchasing recycled ink cartridges reduces the carbon footprint and also is much cheaper for your wallet. Using recycled materials is a small effort that keeps the atmosphere cleaner and saves dumping plastics into landfills. Your recycling efforts helps the earth remain less toxic and if enough people become conscious, avoids potential health and environmental issues. It's the socially responsibly thing to do. Unfortunately parents and educational efforts lie in shambles when witnessing the trash alongside highways, turnarounds and intersections. What is a remanufactured inkjet cartridge? Professionally remanufactured inkjet cartridges are original manufacturer's brand inkjet cartridges which have been through one cycle of service and have been cleaned and recharged with ink. Every inkjet cartridge has been thoroughly cleaned along with the print head nozzles. At that point the cartridge is filled with the same ink formulation as the original as well as checked if it has the correct internal atmospheric pressure. After these conditions are met, it is inspected for any possible shell leakage, batch tested the operation of all electrical circuitry and finally ran through an a printing test. Passing these test it is remanufactured!
